Mr. Blanco is the founding and current managing partner of Blanco & Arias. He handles matters involving workers compensation, personal injury, and employment related litigation.
Mr. Blanco earned a Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, where he received a Mexican American Bar Association scholarship. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Riverside, where he was a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society.
Prior to forming Blanco & Arias, APC, Mr. Blanco worked for a prominent workers’ compensation defense firm where he represented self-insured employers and public entities in all aspects of workers’ compensation defense. He has also served as a seminar and webinar panelist interpreting new workers’ compensation legislation.
Prior to his defense practice, Mr. Blanco worked as an Associate Attorney at a large Los Angeles employment and workers’ compensation firm where he litigated applicant workers’ compensation cases. He has also worked as a Contractor for the Office of Medicare Hearing and Appeals (U.S. Dept. of Health & Human Services), where beneficiaries and providers litigate matters related to the Federal Medicare program.
Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Blanco worked as a Medical Payments Claims Representative for a national multiline insurance company where he handled matters related to automobile medical payments coverage. He has also worked as a Property and Casualty Claims Adjuster for one of the largest automobile insurers in the county, where he managed all aspects of auto related insurance claims. Mr. Blanco strives to deliver results to the firm’s clients through intelligent, thoughtful and aggressive representation. Mr. Blanco is admitted to practice law before all California State Courts and the United States Central District of California.
