Partners Robert Blanco and Janeth Arias have been representing victims of workplace injuries, workplace discrimination, and personal injury since 2015. Janeth Arias

Janeth Arias is a founding partner of Blanco & Arias. Ms. Arias and handles cases involving wrongful termination, retaliation, unlawful discrimination, and harassment due to race, gender, disability, or other protected category. Janeth Arias also handles matters involving workers’ compensation, wage & hour, and personal injury.

Janeth Arias earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2009. Ms. Arias graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Public Law Concentration and a Minor in Spanish from California State University, Long Beach.

Ms. Arias is admitted to practice before all California State Courts, the United States Central District of California, the United States Eastern District Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Ms. Arias is a trusted member of the legal community, fluent in English and Spanish, and is an avid Dodger fan.

Robert Blanco

Mr. Blanco is the founding and current managing partner of Blanco & Arias. He handles matters involving workers compensation, personal injury, and employment related litigation.

Mr. Blanco earned a Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, where he received a Mexican American Bar Association scholarship. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Riverside, where he was a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society.

Prior to forming Blanco & Arias, APC, Mr. Blanco worked for a prominent workers’ compensation defense firm where he represented self-insured employers and public entities in all aspects of workers’ compensation defense. He has also served as a seminar and webinar panelist interpreting new workers’ compensation legislation.

Prior to his defense practice, Mr. Blanco worked as an Associate Attorney at a large Los Angeles employment and workers’ compensation firm where he litigated applicant workers’ compensation cases. He has also worked as a Contractor for the Office of Medicare Hearing and Appeals (U.S. Dept. of Health & Human Services), where beneficiaries and providers litigate matters related to the Federal Medicare program.

Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Blanco worked as a Medical Payments Claims Representative for a national multiline insurance company where he handled matters related to automobile medical payments coverage. He has also worked as a Property and Casualty Claims Adjuster for one of the largest automobile insurers in the county, where he managed all aspects of auto related insurance claims. Mr. Blanco strives to deliver results to the firm’s clients through intelligent, thoughtful and aggressive representation. Mr. Blanco is admitted to practice law before all California State Courts and the United States Central District of California.

Angela Leong

Angela Leong is an employment law attorney that is passionate about advocating for employees and their rights.

Ms. Leong worked as a business law attorney for Chinese corporations, reducing their liability at the expense of workers. As an employment law attorney, Ms. Leong uses her first-hand knowledge of how businesses work to fight for worker rights!

Ms. Leong graduated from Whittier Law School. She completed her bachelor’s degree in English Communications at the University of Macau in Macau, China She also earned a Master of Science degree in Mass Communications at Southern Illinois University Carbondale..

Ms. Leong is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin and her experience includes working on cases involving Chinese immigrants with the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles.

Ms. Leong is admitted to practice law before all California State Courts and the United States Central District of California.
